Thomson board meeting is brief

With few bullet points on the agenda, the Thomson Township Board of Supervisors held another brief meeting Thursday, Feb. 17.

The board approved 2022 health savings account contributions for township employees, with no discussion from the board. The board also accepted the retirement of township employee Jerry Manthey, part-time building and code enforcement official, with thanks for his years of service.

Any township residents who would like to be on the agenda to speak at a board of supervisors meeting should call the township office before the day of the scheduled meeting. The Thomson Township Board of Supervisors meets on the first and third Thursday of the month.

The annual town meeting will be held at 7 p.m. March 8 at the Thomson Town Hall.
