Esko’s April Hepokoski has been touting “zero waste” practices for nearly a decade in the region. This month, she and sustainability activist Rob Greenfield, an Ashland, Wisconsin native, released a book, called “Zero Waste Kids.”
On Friday, March 4, the two will be at the Cloquet Public Library to discuss the book and sign copies.
For a taste of Hepokoski’s work, visit the Zero Waste Duluth Facebook page.
Book signings will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by a presentation and more book signings going until 8 p.m. Books will be available for purchase at the event. To attend the presentation, register at https://zero-waste-duluth.ticketleap.com/zero-waste-kids-book-release/details.
