The third of six children, she graduated from Cloquet Senior High School in 1965. Ann earned her teaching degree at Mankato State College, graduating in 1969. She taught elementary education in Big Lake for several years. She lived on the East Coast in Norfolk, Virginia, for a time and then moved to Los Angeles and worked at 20th Century Fox, a job she really enjoyed. She returned to Minnesota and worked in the education field and as a legal secretary until retirement.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents and an older sister, Patricia (David) Schroeder. She is survived by her sisters Bonnie (Charles) Johnson of North Oaks, and Judy (Harvey) Korby of Wrenshall; brothers, Jim (Nancy) Tario and Jack (Sheila) Tario, both of Cloquet; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and -nephews.
