College notes: Academic honors

• The University of Minnesota Duluth recently announced its dean’s list for last fall. It included the following students from the area: Ezekiel Palmer and Ben Talarico of Carlton, Hannah Green of Cloquet, and Alina Lekander of Mahtowa.

• Winona State University recently announced its dean’s for last fall. It included the following students from the area: Amber Collman of Cromwell, Trayton Houck and Rosalie Richardson of Mahtowa, and Katelyn Kelley of Cloquet.

• Paul Smith’s College in New York announced that Aidan Ripp of Cloquet was named to the fall dean’s list.

• Cloquet’s Anna Gunelson earned placement on the Gonzaga University president’s list for the fall.

• Kirsten Rye of Esko was named to the University of Utah’s fall dean’s list.

• St. Cloud State University announced its fall dean’s list, which included Colton Ziegler of Barnum and James Deppa of Esko.

• Bethel University’s fall dean’s list includes: Rachael Barnes of Barnum; Dakota Burton, Andrew Libbon, and Katherine Libbon of Cromwell; Jaustin Piepho and Dane Stoyanoff of Esko; and Lilia Bissonette of Wrenshall.

• Taylor Roen of Esko was recently named to Wichita State University’s fall dean’s honor roll.

• Dakota Tireman of Esko was named to the Milwaukee School of Engineering’s dean’s list for the winter quarter.

• Local students have earned dean’s list honors from Bemidji State University for the fall semester: Mercedes Isensee and Meghan Sandberg of Barnum; Megan Holshouser, Piper Jaakola, Allyson Jurek, Travis Rahkola, and Spencer Wehr of Cloquet; Everett Lind and Lauren Slama of Cromwell; and Madeline Nelson of Mahtowa. Taylor Nelson of Carlton was named to the president’s list.
