Brice Maximillian Parnin passed away Aug. 29, 2022. He was born May 25, 1979, to Bruce and Lynn (Johnson) Parnin. He graduated from Cloquet Senior High School in 1997 and worked as a bleach plant operator at Sappi. In 2011 he married Crystal Giroux after dating for 14 years. Brice enjoyed hiking in state parks, camping, trap shooting and agate picking. Over the past 30 years he won many trap shooting events at the Big Lake Gun Club. He loved classic rock and doing the “jammy dance” with his boys. Firework wars with the neighbors and campfires were always the highlights of his summer. A member of the Northstar Hunting Lodge since age 13, he was a “pro” duck hunter.
Brice was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harlan and Eleanor Johnson and Brice Parnin and Bea Parnin Yanda; and uncles Mark Johnson and Kerry Roe. He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Lynn Parnin; wife, Crystal Parnin; his two beloved sons, Cash and Dylan; brother, Blake Parnin; mother-in-law, Barb Powell; father-in-law, Charles (Jodi) Giroux; two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law; and two nieces and one nephew. Brice will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
