Letters: Why we should hire Jeff Dotseth

As a manager in my manufacturing and education career I have had the opportunity to vet and hire many employees. Through the application and interview process I sought to learn and understand as much as possible about the applicant and how they would benefit our work team.

Jeff Dotseth is seeking the “job” of representing the people of House District 11A. During the last election cycle I called both candidates requesting an interview. Jeff came to my home and spent nearly an hour sharing our concerns. In spite of my asking many questions he listened intently to my views.

After doing some additional research into his local Realty business, I decided to support Jeff and get involved with his campaign.

I support Jeff Dotseth for the following reasons:

1. Common sense: Jeff has worked as a laborer and a carpenter, has owned businesses, farms on the side and has a history of community involvement. These practical experiences have helped him develop a sense for what is reasonable and doable.

2. Integrity: During his campaign while working with his volunteer team I have repeatedly heard him admonish team members to “Take the high road”. This integrity is also evident in his business practices.

3. Work Ethic: Jeff is commonly known as the “Energizer Bunny”. Anyone who has followed him in a parade or knocking on doors knows he understands the word “Hustle”. I believe he will put equal energy into representing District 11A in the Minnesota House.

I believe Jeff Dotseth is a sincere and qualified candidate worthy of your vote on Nov. 8.
