Our sympathies to the family of Don Oman, 71, who died on Jan. 8. He was born in St. Paul on July 29, 1951. Don worked at American National Bank in downtown St. Paul for 25 years until he went on disability in March 1996. Don and his wife, Jean, moved to the Cromwell area. He continued his love of volunteer work at Bethany Church for 15 years and volunteered at a local school. He also helped to form the Cromwell-Wright Area Lake Association and was its president its first few years. Don was recognized by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota as a Champion of Health for his work in forming and directing the Called to Care program in the area. Don and Jean relocated to Bullhead City, Arizona, where he enjoyed volunteering for Community Lutheran Church.
