There are several activities going on at FDLTCC this month:

Language symposium

The fourth annual Ojibwe Language Symposium will be held this weekend, Feb 3-5, at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College. The free symposium is a family-oriented, collaborative community event where language holders and learners can come together.

As in past years, the event will offer two strands of language learning: an emergent level for beginning speakers, and an immersive level for practitioners and fluent speakers.

For more information and registration, please visit fdltcc.edu/event/4th-annual-ojibwe-

language-symposium or contact Roxanne DeLille at [email protected].

Healthcare expo

Students and community members are invited to the free 2023 Nursing and Healthcare Expo Wednesday, Feb. 8 at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College. Learn about the wide range of healthcare careers, agencies and employment opportunities. Refreshments available.

Bee symposium

The Bee Symposium returns to Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Saturday, Feb. 11. The in-person event is open to the community and offers participants a chance to learn everything from beginning beekeeping to overwintering techniques.

The 2023 Bee Symposium will include presentations from esteemed guest speakers, a cider making demonstration and much more.

Sponsored by the Environmental Institute at FDLTCC and the Northeast Minnesota Beekeepers Association, tickets for the 2023 event are $30 each and can be purchased in advance at tempotickets.com/Bee23 or at the door with cash or check.
