Brent Eugene Kulaszewicz, 37, of Cloquet passed away on Feb. 5, 2023, in Baudette. He was born on March 17, 1985, in Cloquet to John and Ginger Kulaszewicz.
He graduated from Cloquet High School in 2004 and went on to earn his bachelor's degree at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
Brent worked as an electrical engineer for USG, where he began as a vacation replacement in 2004, and worked in most, if not all, the departments over the years. Brent also worked as a locksmith and a safecracker for many in town and the surrounding area.
He married Robin Johnson on Nov. 11, 2011. Together they enjoyed many trips to Bluefin Bay Resort. He enjoyed fishing, especially with his son, Zack, and hunting, welding, locksmithing and safecracking, and he was an avid collector of vintage locks.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leslie and Elaine Southworth. Brent is survived by his loving wife, Robin; daughters, Randi and Dani'; son, Zack; granddaughter, Katya; his parents; brothers, Dean and Brian (Marina); sister, Julie Morton (Joe Vork); grandmother, Sandra Dallum; grandfather, Joel Kulaszewicz; in-laws, Vern and Joan Johnson; brothers-in-law, Randy (Alieca) Johnson and Ryan (Tara) Johnson; uncles, Jim (Colleen) Kulaszewicz, Jay Kulaszewicz and Jerry (Julie) Kulaszewicz; cousins, Kevin and Kyle Kulaszewicz; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation was scheduled for 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, in Atkins Northland Funeral Home in Cloquet, and continuing at 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. service Friday, Feb. 10 at Journey Christian Church, 1400 Washington Ave., Cloquet. A luncheon will follow the service.
