Mark Maynard Erickson, 61, of Proctor died unexpectedly, at home on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023. He was born in Cloquet on Oct. 30, 1961, to Clarence and Smila Erickson. Mark was a 1980 graduate of AlBrook High School. He met the love of his life, Lisa Parmeter, on a blind date. They married in August of 1982, and had three sons. Mark loved hunting, fishing and camping, and being at the hunting shack with his dad and boys. His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, and especially his grandchildren.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Erickson, in 2019, and brother Mike Erickson in 2022.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Erickson; sons, Nathan (Heather) Erickson and their children Eliana and August, Corey Erickson, and Matthew (Kim) Erickson and their children Owen, Easton, Chase, and Hadley, Owen’s sister; mother, Smila Erickson; sister, Becky (Jay) Tremblay; beloved sister-in-law, Debbie Erickson; foster brother, Vernon (Jennifer) Erickson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mark had a great sense of humor and always had a smile. We are sure he is smiling down on us all.
