Job fair comes to Black Bear

March brings Spring Career Fair 2023 to Black Bear Casino’s Otter Creek Event Center.

Taking place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 14, the career fair will be focused on jobs attainable with general education that also provide thriving wages, benefits, and advancement opportunities, a promotional release said.

The career fair is sponsored by the Cloquet-based Northeast Minnesota Office of Job Training, or JET. The event is open and free to the public.

“We are showcasing and highlighting employers who hire workforce without a college degree,” said Laura Nilsen, career counselor with JET. “This is something new and different for our area and it’s time we expose all the amazing opportunities and jobs that can be attained with good pay and benefits.”
