Kathleen Faye Marciniak, 83, of Cloquet passed away peacefully on March 14, 2023. She was born on April 17, 1939, to Joseph and Esther Blair. Best known to her family and friends as Faye, “Gramsie,” a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her sons, Kevin (Beth), Todd (Beth) and Patrick (Kim); grandchildren, Kirsten (Donnie), Amber (Mike), Arianna (Jason), Max and Sam; and great-grandsons, Axel and Teddy. She was a lifelong resident of Cloquet and enjoyed working at the Cloquet Greenhouse, where she made many long-lasting friendships. Faye loved working in her garden, enjoyed coffee visits, and was an avid reader. She enjoyed dancing with her husband, Michael. Faye never lost her sense of humor and was known to some as a great prankster.
Her greatest pleasure by far were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved
watching them grow up, visiting with them, boasting about each, and just being their grandmother.
She will be missed by all of us.
A celebration of Faye’s life will be held 2-6 p.m. Saturday, June 10 at the Northeastern Saloon and Grille in Cloquet. To sign an online registry, please visit http://www.nelsonfuneralcare.net.
