One driver's failure to yield caused a four-car crash Monday morning, at the busy intersection of Minnesota Highway 33 and Cloquet Avenue in Cloquet.
Two people were transported to a hospital with minor injuries, said Cloquet Area Fire District battalion chief Michael Garberg.
According to the call for service report from the Cloquet Police Department, Gerald Koslowski, 62, failed to yield while making a left turn onto Cloquet Avenue from southbound Highway 33, causing the four-vehicle crash, which created a substantial amount of debris that included at least two bicycles attached to the back of an SUV.
The 911 call came in at 10:09 a.m. Monday, but it took until 3:40 p.m. before the scene was completely cleared. Charges are pending.
