Hagen Construction & Remodeling, LLC is a relatively new business name in Carlton County. But owner Bart Hagen is no stranger to the area. Barnum is Bart's hometown. Bart and his family returned to the Barnum area to be closer to his aging parents in 2020.

As a child, Bart helped his dad put an addition onto the family home and often assisted with household projects. He worked for his family's lumber mill business. Being a handy man comes naturally.

Bart Hagen started Hagen Construction in Colorado Springs in 2013, after leaving a 15-year career in sales and transportation management. With the help of his two sons, Lance and Nicholas, the Hagen Construction business grew. Bart's prior experience in customer service and management has been helpful in meeting and surpassing client expectations.

In 2020 the business name became Hagen Construction & Remodeling, LLC to better reflect the variety and scope of the services the company offers. Bart expanded their custom remodeling services to include basements, complete remodels, kitchens and baths. Investors and real estate agents regularly hire Bart to do fixes and flips and remodels for resale and investment properties.

Bart specializes in custom tile and stonework but enjoys all aspects of remodeling. Hagen Construction & Remodeling is fully licensed and insured and serves homeowners in Carlton County and Duluth.

Seeing his customers' visions for their dream home and making it become a reality is what Bart strives for and finds most rewarding. Materials will then be ordered, and work will be scheduled to include subcontractors as needed. To give customers further peace of mind, a background check is required of all employees of Hagen Construction & Remodeling. All subcontractors are also required to provide proof of insurance. Regular meetings will also be scheduled with you to keep you informed of the project's progress and any potential changes that may unexpectedly arise.
