Raptors Routed

Carlton/Wrenshall's Carter Woodall looks for some running room against Nevis' Lealan Norby during Friday's football game. Nevis used explosive plays to take a 69-0 halftime lead on the road in Carlton Aug. 25, eventually notching a 77-0 win. The Tigers scored seven times on nine plays to begin the rout. The Raptors, who come into the season knowing they will be outmatched, were playing their first varsity game since low participation numbers last season meant there was no varsity team. The team travels to Sebeka, Minnesota tonight.
