Lee Lavamaki passed away Aug. 26, 2023.
Lee was preceded in death by his mom, Gayle Lavamaki; grandpa Emil R. Juntunen; Nick Mandoli Sr .; Jeff Profitt; and unborn baby in 2018.
Lee loved music, singing and playing his guitars. Most of all, he loved his fur babies. He had a song which he sang for every one of them, and they knew their songs. Lee loved to make people happy - he was funny and quirky, and will be missed by many.
Lee is survived by his partner of 19 years, Theresa; his family: Liz, Lori, Karen and Nick Jr; stepsons, Austin (Rachel) Golden and Chase (Kelsey Olson) Golden; a very special granddaughter Nevaeh and grandson Kingston and six stepgrandkids; very special and best friends Casey Dayton and Matt Olesiak; special aunt, Cherlyn Davis, numerous cousins, stepnieces, and a special stepnephew, Brock; and loving granddog, Biggie.
Lee was a donor and was able to save the lives of five people. That would have made him so happy. We are so proud of him.
His family will hold a celebration of life for Lee at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21 at Grace Church in Cloquet.
