Eddie Sandoval-Luna has opened his new Mexican restaurant, Oasis Del Norte, at 2401 W. Superior St. in the Lincoln Park Craft District in Duluth. The taqueria is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and 12-8 p.m. Sundays. Eddie is Mark and Linda Dahlman’s son-in-law. He has had his food truck in our area several times.
The Women of Bethlehem’s fall rummage sale is 2-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6 and 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday.
The annual Tamarack Sportsman’s Club wild game dinner starts at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7 at the McGregor Community Center, with a silent auction and raffle drawing at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from club members and at the dinner.
Cromwell-Wright junior class prom fundraiser: Get your Butter Braid pastry snacks. Order at the school office by Oct. 10. Butter Braids will be delivered to the school on Nov. 1. They are $15.
Cromwell-Wright high school students will hold a breast cancer awareness silent auction at the school on Oct. 12 during a volleyball game. They are in need of basket donations brought to the school by Oct. 11.
The Cromwell Area Young Old Timers will meet at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at the Cromwell Park Pavilion. Kenny is making potato pancakes.
Ruby’s Pantry will be at the Pavilion in Cromwell 9-10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12.
