St. Luke's celebrates new plaza

The former Shopko store in Moose Lake is now St. Luke’s Plaza, home to Northern Lakes Surgery Center, Lake Area Therapy Services and St. Luke’s Diagnostic Imaging. These health-focused businesses are serving patients in the Moose Lake area with high-quality, compassionate care.

“Since Northern Lakes opened, we’ve loved being able to provide everything from colonoscopies to cataract surgeries and biopsies in our community,” said Eric Nielsen, Gateway Clinic administrator and Northern Lakes Surgery Center board vice president. “Our partnership with St. Luke’s is an incredible investment in the well-being of our community members.”

• Northern Lakes Surgery Center (NLSC) offers expert, state-of-the-art surgical care. NLSC is a partnership between St. Luke’s and Gateway Family Health Clinic.

• Lake Area Therapy Services provides personalized, patient-centered physical and massage therapy to help patients meet and exceed their goals. They also provide school-based speech therapy, and occupational therapy is coming soon.

• St. Luke’s Diagnostic Imaging offers a convenient option for residents to receive cutting-edge CT imaging close to home.

The remodeling of St. Luke’s Plaza cost $8.5 million. DSGW Architects designed the space and construction was completed by Johnson Wilson Constructors and Donald Holm Construction.

“We’re proud to invest in Moose Lake, especially in such a sustainable way,” St. Luke’s Vice President of Strategy & Finance Chris Johnson said. “We had the perfect opportunity to breathe new life into this building and repurpose it to serve the region’s healthcare needs.”

In addition to its location just a mile from Interstate 35, St. Luke’s Plaza offers plenty of parking.
