When Melvin and I were attending a show in Branson, Missouri the entertainers came out during intermission to visit with the crowd. I went down to visit with one of them and a man in the front row asked me where I was from. When I told him I was from Kettle River, he asked me if I knew someone. When I told him that I knew that person, he said he was from Barnum and had stood up for them when they got married. After a short conversation, I learned that his brother had graduated from Barnum in the same class with Melvin. What a small world.
