Trick-or-treaters hit downtown Carlton

Despite cooler temperatures and a lingering snow, trick or treaters made the rounds Tuesday evening on Sixth Street in Cloquet.

Four-year-old Arrow, left, and big sister Artemis, age 8, made their own Up! movie costume. The Nylen family came to Cloquet to trick or treat with friends, instead of staying in Hermantown.

A constant stream of trick or treaters and thrill seekers made their way to the Risdon and Hullinger houses on the 100 block of 13th Street in Cloquet. Each year Tom and Brenda Risdon keep adding to their spooky display and inviting brave souls for a tour of the yard, while the Hullinger house next door features some larger-than-life blow-up decorations, including a Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man (of Ghostbusters fame) as tall as their home.
