Ruth Jean Fuller, 91, of Cloquet passed away Dec. 2, 2023, surrounded by family at her home. She was born on April 30, 1932, to John Edward and Ruth Magdeline (Lovvig) Anderson in Cloquet.
Ruth graduated from Cloquet High School and soon after was united in marriage to Robert Fuller. The couple went on to be blessed with 73 years of marriage and six children.
Throughout her life, Ruth was a wonderful homemaker and expressed her love by cooking for her family. Ruth was also a gifted painter. She enjoyed time spent in Arizona during the winters, bowling, and supporting her husband on the softball field. Ruth was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Cloquet for many years and served in the church choir.
She had a great sense of humor and will be remembered for her generous, caring, and loving nature, which was shown especially toward her children and grandchildren, of whom she was so proud.
Ruth is survived by her husband; children Robin (Jim Cosgrove) Fuller, Wendy (Steve) Newbloom, Mark Fuller, Robert "Bob" Fuller, and Beth (Rick) Wilhelm; grandchildren, Jon Fuller, Joe Marczak, Jen Ireland, Sarah Palmer, Alyssa Blatnik and Kayla Winkler; great-grandchildren, Maggie, Jemma, Jagger, Jericho, Anya, Bodhi and August; great-great-granddaughter, Leilah; and special niece, Linda (Scott) Browers. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Jon Fuller; and daughter-in-law, Donna (Langenbrunner) Fuller.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7 at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet, with interment at Maple Grove Cemetery in Cloquet. To sign an online registry, please visit http://www.nelsonfuneral care.net.
