On behalf of the Carlton County Retired Educators and ADK Sorority, we are requesting funds to buy school supplies and books to give out to the children and youth at the Carlton County Fair held in August at the Barnum fairgrounds.

We volunteer all four days of the fair at the Little Red Schoolhouse, welcoming all the folks who stop in during the fair. We also clean the building, desks, slate chalkboards and windows, and generally keep the building in order.

We also maintain the many displays, on the walls and bulletin boards, of the Carlton County schools. We welcome any amount you can contribute to make this year one of the best. Make checks out to CCRE c/o Jennie K. Hanson, 620 Center Road, Wright MN 55798. Thanks for your consideration.

Enjoy yoga at 11 a.m. Mondays in March at the Cromwell Pavilion.

Kindergarten roundup is 8:45-10 a.m. Friday, March 22.

The next YOT Dance is 1-4 p.m. March 28 at the Cromwell Pavilion, with Jerry and Joyce.

The Lake Country Power district meetings will start in April. District 8 will be at the Cromwell Pavilion at 5 p.m. on April 4, with a light supper, district updates and door prizes.

Palm Sunday services are at 8 a.m. at Bethlehem and 9:30 a.m. at Bethany on March 24.

Join the residents at the Villa Vista for their Good Friday Service at 9 a.m. on March 29.

A joint Easter service will be held at 8 a.m. Sunday, March 31 at Bethany.
