The Kettle River city barbecue is

11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 4 at the Kettle River ballpark. This is a potluck event, so bring a dish to share and have a chance to visit with friends.

The Suomalainen Kirkko committee will hold a meeting 3 p.m., Sunday, May 5 at its building to plan for events for the summer.

The next Kettle River City Council meeting is 7 p.m.

The next Ma & Pa Kettle Days meeting is 6 p.m. Sunday, May 19 at the Kettle River Senior center.

The next Finnish Luncheon starts at noon Tuesday, May 21. Everyone is invited to attend. Come and visit with your friends as you enjoy lunch.

Mark your calendar for the Holy Trinity/Faith Lutheran “Jump into June” sale 9 a.m. to

1 p.m. Friday, May 31 at the Kettle River Senior Center. This will be a plant and bake sale.

The Ma & Pa Kettle Days Mud Bog committee will hold a fundraising event at the Kettle River Veterans building 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 1.
