Celebrating 91

Gayle Grant of Wrenshall, in back row with the white golf hat, celebrated his 91st birthday last month. His kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren helped him acknowledge the happy event. They came from all parts of the western United States including Nevada, Utah, Nebraska, and even Alaska. Festivities included swimming and fishing on Lake Superior. Grant is a regular in the senior golf leagues at Rugged Spruce Golf Course in Mahtowa, walking 18 holes daily with his push cart. A former Marine sergeant, Grant once lived in Las Vegas.
