Carmen's owners, Ryan and Zach, are the new owners of The Jack.
Carmen's Bar & Restaurant has always been a home away from home for many, customers and crew alike. Since opening in 1997, they've been fortunate to have long-standing employees consistently deliver great food and service, earning loyal customers. That has allowed Carmen's to grow within and to take the opportunity to branch out to another location.
You can expect to see certain events throughout the year, such as dinner specials for every holiday, including corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick's Day and charbroiled prime rib on New Year's Eve. Every Wednesday night you can test your wits at DJ Trivia. Or, if you are interested in a certain cold draft beer, check the fuel price on your way up at B&B Market. That's what you'll pay for a cold draft 16-ounce Busch Light.
The Pull Tab Pullooza every August brings the summer to an end on a high note, with Minnesota Vikings tickets giveaway, daily raffle prizes, a chance at discounted items and live music - even if you don't come out on top, proceeds go to a good cause, with the Eagles Club being the sponsoring charity. And if you find yourself just stopping by, you will be greeted by a familiar face behind the bar, and daily lunch and appetizer specials.
The new kitchen addition and wonderful staff at Carmen's enabled owners Ryan Lindstrom and Zachary Zezulka to grow their business endeavors with the purchase of The Jack in Cloquet, previously owned by their good friend Adam Bailey. With the staff of The Jack staying on and a remodel done in 2020, the addition of Carmen's steadily growing catering services will allow The Jack to offer an event room that will accommodate 175 guests.
The community is invited to the new ownership celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23 to meet Ryan and Zach, enjoy food and drink specials, and live music by the Social Animals starting at 8 p.m., including their single release. You can be sure to find something going on at Carmen's throughout the year, and will always be able to find your go-to menu item and a cold one on tap while they keep improving and growing in all aspects of the business.
