Obituary: Deborah Kaye Hage

Deborah Kaye Hage, 68, of Duluth passed away on July 12, 2024. She was born Sept. 1, 1955, in Cloquet to Kermit and Irene Carlson. She was raised in Mahtowa and graduated from Barnum High School in 1973. She married Tracy Hage Jr. on July 11, 1981. They made their home in Duluth and together raised their son Nick there.

Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Tracy; parents, Kerm and Irene, in-laws Tracy Sr. and Elma Hage; sisters Colleen Fetters, Cari Taipale and Diane Gilbey; brother Scott Carlson; and sisters-in-law, Nancy Listiak and Nancy Patton.

She is survived by son Nick; grandchildren, Addison, Jackson, Jocelyn and Lillian of New Ulm; brothers Steve (Connie) of Lucedale, Mississippi, and Mike (Jill) Carlson of Barnum; sister and brother-in-law Mary and Jerry Hallsten of Duluth; brothers-in-law, Lynn Taipale, Wayne Gilbey and Richard Listiak; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering in Deb's honor will be held 2-4 p.m. Sept. 1 at Salem's Mahtowa Hall.
