Letter to the Editor: Send the better candidate to House

Jen Schultz has the capability of being a great representative. U.S. Rep. Pete Stauber comes from a good family, has a good family and he is probably a decent man, but he is a poor representative. We need a representative that will actually try to make the families in the district have a better life in some way, a representative that will think about us.

Pete Stauber has voted against everything that would do better for the people of this district. He voted against getting the Blatnik Bridge repaired, he voted against the Inflation Reduction Act, so I guess he doesn’t care about the economy or making our climate better, and he must be against manufacturing, since he voted against the CHIPS and Science Act. In fact, I’d like to know if he’s done anything for us or the country.

Everyone is telling me he’ll be in the House forever, so I think we should surprise him by voting for a hard-working woman and send him back home to his good family. Let’s vote for Jen Schultz, who will work hard for us and vote for things that will help the people of this district.
