Business Spotlight: Burger's Shoes Cloquet

Well, folks, here we are again! September. Fall approaches, summer drifts away, and the world keeps spinning around. Although I would love to see the warm temperatures stick around for a while longer, we will just have to see what happens, I suppose.

This year marks 10 years for me at ye olde shoe shop, and I feel very fortunate. Cloquet is a pretty neat little place! Thanks for being such an outstanding community. Reflecting on the last year, we have had businesses open, close and change ownership - with each of these transitions, sometimes things aren't easy, but feeling community support is such a good thing to have!

As we enter the fall season, my customer appreciation anniversary sale is coming up quickly!

This year, Burger's Shoes celebrates 66 years in business! There are many feelings behind each year of existence and establishment ... feelings of accomplishment, pride, stress, surprise and relief. I suppose all of these feelings are common amongst the small businesses that keep forging through the unknowns. "Keep on keeping on" is something I tell myself often. Change is good, but it's also important to remember how you got to where you are!

Let's get to the good stuff - everyone likes a deal, especially on shoes, right? SO - my customer appreciation anniversary sale will run Sept. 23-27. There will be drawings for shoes, so come sign up! We will have snacks, so you have lots of energy to try on shoes. And, lastly, if you decide to purchase anything, you will receive UP TO 66 percent off your total in-stock purchase!

Cheers to a good summer, and here's to the next season! Thank you so much for your business, and please keep patronizing your favorite mom-and-pop shops that we are so lucky to have in our area!

Thank you for your business, and here's to many more seasons.
