Flocking to the Library

It was record-breaking summer at the Cloquet Public Library as 589 children signed up for the Kids Reading Challenge and more than 1,800 people came to events. The library partnered with Community Memorial Hospital to make the summer reading program even more spectacular than past years. Thanks to the hard work of Audrey Tusken, the director of marketing and public relations at the hospital, participants were provided with many health and wellness-related events, including a kids cooking class and toddler sensory stations program. They also provided our kids with some big prizes, including a bike and helmet won by Virginia Bogart, who was very excited to receive her prizes. Library staff is thankful for contributions from the hospital and for the community support during a busy summer.
