Eric Paul Taylor, originally from New Orleans, went to meet Jesus on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife, Victoria Dietz Taylor; his beloved sons, Eric Taylor II, James (Rebecca) Taylor; and daughter, Nissa Dietz; loving grandchildren, Freya, Jaiden, Landon, and Devina; beloved brothers, Lane (Brian) O'Brien, Christopher (Charlene) Taylor, Robert (Bing) Kampen; nephews, Donovan, Daniel and Kasey; niece, Katelyn; and many nieces and nephews in Louisiana.
Eric is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Taylor and Joyce Young Taylor; his brother, Gerald Taylor; and sister, Pamela Taylor Lawrence.
A memorial service was scheduled for 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, with visitation beginning at 4 p.m. at Atkins Northland Funeral Home in Cloquet. A lunch will follow.
