Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor

plumbing. Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 expected.

* WHERE...In Minnesota, Carlton, South St. Louis, Central St. Louis, North St. Louis,Northern Aitkin, Pine, Koochiching, North Itasca, South Itasca, Northern Cook and Lake, and Southern Cook Counties. In Wisconsin, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Sawyer, and Washburn Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the St. Croix Band in Burnett County, the Grand Portage Reservation, the Fond du Lac Band, the Red Cliff Band, the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation, the Mille Lacs Band, Hinckley, Lena Lake and, Big Sandy Lake areas and the Bois Forte Band, Nett Lake, Lake Vermilion and, Deer Creek areas. Recreation spots such as Voyageurs National Park and the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. The entire Boundary Waters is also included.
