Letter to the Editor: Why won't Dotseth debate?

Two years ago Pete Radosevich and Jeff Dotseth participated in a debate. Pete gave a quality response providing background information and then explaining his answer. Dotseth didn’t seem to match such quality.

Now it appears that Rep. Dotseth has chosen to not debate in Moose Lake, the only Carlton County candidate forum where the candidates would have sat in the same room. I wonder why. Does he not want to defend his performance in the state legislature? This might suggest it’s time for a change.

If you have read Pete Radosevich’s columns in the Pine Knot News, it might give you an idea of his way of thinking and how he would represent us in the legislature. His words make sense and indicate that he would represent all classes of people. Also, if you have ever heard him speak, he has a strong voice that draws your attention, a quality that might be advantageous in negotiating bills in congress.

He is a lawyer, so surely he knows how laws should be worded to work to their fullest intention.

Pete is a person of faith because he belongs to and regularly attends church services. I think these are beneficial traits that make it worthy to consider supporting Pete Radosevich when you step into the voting booth.
