It’s been 34 years since Nov. 10, 1990, since our son Garrie was shot in the face during the opening of deer hunting season. He sustained a broken jaw, but was able to walk out of the woods and get to the waiting ambulance. He had to have surgery and ended up with three metal plates and eight screws in his jaw. They are still there, and will be for the rest of his life. We thank God for his survival. Enjoy the second week of deer camp, and stay safe.
The Cromwell Area Community Club’s hunters supper attendance was down this year, but there was a steady number of folks who came in. Thanks to all the volunteers and especially those who attended.

Box 175, Wright MN 55798; or, call Ruth at 218-426-3123. This is its 12th year of fundraising to provide Christmas gifts for children, nursing home residents and others.
The Tri-Community Food Shelf appreciates donations, but can’t accept outdated items, or rusted or dented cans. Please do not drop off those types of items. They must be disposed of, and the food shelf does not have a large enough trash bin. The food shelf strives to treat those in need with dignity, and will continue to do so. Thank you for understanding.
