Cloquet man injured in UTV rollover

On Saturday, Nov. 16, at 6:37 p.m., the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 3200 Block of Fraser Road in Lavell Township for the report of a UTV crash. The sole occupant of the UTV was reported as a 34-year-old male from Cloquet.

St. Louis Deputies arrived on scene as the man was being treated by emergency medical personnel. After speaking with the male, it was determined he was the driver and lone occupant. There were no witnesses to the crash. After he was treated, deputies processed the Cloquet man for driving while intoxicated and arrested him. The identity of the male was being withheld pending formal charges.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the St. Louis County Rescue Squad, Cherry first responders and the Virginia ambulance.
