Recycle holiday lights at station

Recycle your unwanted or no longer working holiday lights at the Carlton County Transfer Station, 1950 Highway 210. Electric cords are also accepted. Please remove all decorations from your string lights and remove them from any type of plastic spool, cardboard packaging, or plastic bags first. Place the clean string lights in the correct box at the Transfer Station. Rope lights are acceptable. Acceptable electric cords include extension cords, appliance cords, and telephone cords. Operating hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
