Wright/Cromwell News

I hope you’re having a great 2025. Happy New Year. We all wonder what this year will bring — it seems that 2024 went by too fast, but with all the election stuff, I’m glad that part is over.

Bethlehem Lutheran church in Wright will have its final worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 26. The service will be followed by a catered meal. If you have any special memories from the church, please send them to me at [email protected] or mail a note to me at my new address: P.O. Box 211, 1242 North Star Lane, Cromwell MN 55726.

Bethlehem celebrated its final Christmas Eve candlelight service last week. The sanctuary was filled with some complete families. Doug and Bonnie Suhonen were there with all their kids, spouses and grandkids, along with several other families, guests and visitors. Pastor Tim, along with Keith and Sarah Levinski, led the service, retelling the Christmas story and introducing several hymns. This service was sad, but memorable. The lighted interior of the sanctuary and the addition of a lighted Christmas tree outdoors sure make for a picturesque scene as you enter or leave Wright.

That’s all the news from the Edge of Wright and Cromwell Corner.
