Obituary: Nathan Ray O'Leary

Nathan Ray O’Leary, 43, of Esko passed away on Dec. 29, 2024.

He is survived by the children he adored, Nicholas Ray O’Leary and Olivianna Christine O’Leary, as well as his parents, and stepparents, Marty (Michelle) O’Leary of Cloquet and Tamara (Dan) Belich of Esko. He also left behind his brothers, Andrew (Jeni) O’Leary of Esko and Benjamin (Jesse) O’Leary of Duluth.

He is missed by his stepbrothers, Jason O’Leary Belich and Alex Belich; stepsister, Natilie Belich; nephews, Evan, Ashton and Nolan O’Leary; adoring niece, Ella O’Leary; and Maxx and Cruz Barnes. He is also survived by numerous paternal aunts and uncles; one maternal aunt, Terri (Dennis) Madzgas and family; his partner, Nicole Adolfs, and her children, Alex and Jacob Adolfs, of Cloquet; numerous cousins and many friends; and four-legged companions, Shyann and Nora.

Nathan enjoyed fishing and hunting, spending time with his nieces and nephews, and fixing up older vehicles. He was always ready to help day or night, and was loved by everyone.

Visitation: 11 a.m. until the 12 p.m. service on Saturday, Jan. 11 at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet.
