A hometown newspaper with a local office, local owners & lots of local news
Since I have moved to Cromwell, I am changing the name of this column to the Cromwell/Wright News instead of Wright/Cromwell News. It just seems to make more sense this way. When I lived on the Edge of Wright, it seemed appropriate to stress the Wright aspect. Anyway, I will try to do my best to cover the news from both towns equally.
The final worship service at Bethlehem Lutheran in Wright will be held at 10 a.m. Jan. 26, with a special meal to follow. All area folks are encouraged to attend. The City of Wright will take over the property and building on Feb. 1. Community and private events can be held there from time to time. More information will come on how to make reservations for events.

Congratulations and thanks to Gail Dahl for her 50 years on staff at the Villa Vista. She was there in the beginning, and is still a vital part of the staff.

Please keep the folks affected by the fires in California in your thoughts and prayers.
That’s all the news from Cromwell Corner and the Edge of Wright.
