Obituary: Dianna Lynn "Dee Dee" Ramfjord

Dianna Lynn “Dee Dee” Ramfjord, 72, of Cloquet passed away Jan. 12, 2025, at her home. She was born April 19, 1952, in Duluth, the daughter of James and Mary (Lessard) Ramfjord. She graduated from Denfeld High School in 1970 and from Duluth Area Vocational Technical Institute with a licensed practical nursing diploma.

Dee worked as an LPN at Park Point Manor in Duluth.

She loved downhill skiing and worked on the Spirit Mountain Ski Patrol for many years. She also loved fishing, snowmobiling and camping with her grandchildren.

Dee Dee was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Stockwell; son, Brian (Nikki) Boder; daughters, Beverly (Ken) Saarela and Karen (Terry) Ahlert; sisters, Lori (Scott) Hoch, Jamie (Paul) Howard, and Sandy (Ed) Livingston; grandchildren, Carly (Cam) Hetland, Jay (Faith) Boder, Andrew Saarela, and Nattliea Saarela; great-grandchildren, Ava and Madilyn; and one eagerly expected great-granddaughter.

A Celebration of Life for Dianna will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet, with refreshments in the fellowship room.
