Larry Joseph Crotteau, 70, of Saint David, Arizona, passed away Dec. 1, 2024, after a battle with cancer. He grew up and went to school in Cloquet. He worked at the Potlatch paper mill in Cloquet until his medical retirement and eventual move to Arizona.
In Arizona, Larry helped those in need with his handyman skills. He always was up to a challenge and loved to help. Those who knew him well would say he wasn't afraid to share his political views.
Larry is survived by the mother of his children, Cindy Slater; sons, Brandon (Nikki) Crotteau and Nathan (Breana) Crotteau, and daughter, Tammy Crotteau; grandchildren, Talon, Braelyn, Hamilton, Harrison, Kadin, Ila, Ellie, Piper and Ora Crotteau, and Genevieve and Zander Lees; brothers, Ken (Vicki) and David (Susan) Crotteau; sisters Laura Simi and Susan (Richard) Chassé; numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family, and a very special lady, Elizabeth Robertson.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Justine (Rusty) Crotteau; sister Renee Crotteau; and brother-in-law, Kirk Simi.
