Cheryl Lee Bednarek, 78, passed away with her family at her side on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, at Barnes Care. She was born in Minneapolis on Dec. 22, 1946, to Harold and Donna Munter. She graduated from high school in 1964 and married Thomas Bednarek on Jan. 19, 1974.
Cheryl was the homemaker for her family before starting her career in manufacturing as a seamstress for Wear-A-Knit and K1 Sports until retiring. Cheryl also enjoyed spending time crafting and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas; and sister, Maureen Bodin.
She is survived by her children, Dan (Angel) Waldorf, Stephanie Thomas, Chris (Fiona) Waldorf, Jason (Rebecca) Bednarek, and Joshua Bednarek; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, Feb. 1 at Atkins Northland Funeral Home, with burial to follow at New Calvary Cemetery. There will be lunch at the funeral home following the burial.
